Overview
1.1
We propose to measure the spin precession as a vector, specifically one component parallel to the magnetic field, and the other component orthogonal to both momentum vector and the magnetic field. The latter corresponds to the precession due to the muon EDM.

Present surface muon production target is a 20 mm thick graphite. There is a plan to replace it with a SiC target to enhance sensitivity on muon-to-electron conversion process in the DeeMe experiment that shares an upstream part of the H-line. The SiC target will double the surface muon intensity.
1.4 Spin Reversal
why the spin reversal helps to reduce the uncertainty?
- $g-2$ at J-PARC
- BNL
- FNAL
- Mu1S2S

silica in general and aerogel in particular show long muonium depolarization times.
